September and August (10 and 11 Months)

Crawling, Standing, Clapping, and Saying Bye-Bye. She's really turning in to a fun little girl. She spends most of her day trying to make us laugh by making funny sounds, clappping, playing hide and seek and doing a new dance. We spent a little time away from her in Napa and San Francisco. We had a great time, and were thrilled to get back to her. She's such a blessing.
We think she'll be walking soon.

Wheels Up. She's Crawling.

Caroline is crawling, and life has officially changed. We've baby proofed the house, and Krista spends the entire week chasing Caroline around the floor. She only wants to be moving, and always wants to be wherever she's not. She's loving her walker, and constantly says exactly the right thing "Dada". We had a great 4th of July and Beach trip with her. She loves being around her cousins, and they kept her entertained the entire trip.

Almost Crawling: May 2010

We have some pictures we still need to upload, and will get those up next week. I shot a few videos and got them online so I could watch them on the airplane. I can't stand more than a few hours without my girls. Caroline is almost crawling, and we are getting ready to crawl proof the house. She's saying "up" and "dada". She's a perfect baby girl, and we're blessed.

6 Months Old: Easter and Spring Pics

We haven't posted pics in a while, and wanted to update with Easter and Spring Pics. More to come.

Almost 5 months, she's speaking up.

Caroline does something new every day. She's belly laughing, talking and found her scream. We left her for the first weekend and headed up to Sugar Mountain to ski for the weekend last week. We had a blast swooshing, and missed her terribly.

4 Months and 1 Week: Baby Elvis

We're glad to be back home together, and before I headed out to Orlando for work I was able to spend some quality time outside with the girls. It was the first warm day since she graced us. It was about 50 degrees, and she loved walking around the neighborhood and relaxing in the driveway. She was visited by her favorite boys, Grayson and Davis. She's growing out of some of her favorite clothes. Her white jumper is getting tight and made her look a little like Elvis I had to take a few pics to commemorate the event. We tried to put her in Krista's big glasses to complete the outfit. She wouldn't have it for even a second. Strong willed, just like her...............

Our little Elvis. Sans rhinestones.

The King himself, for visual comparison.
Her first big day outside.
Her first time eating real food. Steamed carrots, she did great.

Valentine's Day with Our Baby Girl

She's just a little over 4 months old now, and we had a great Valentine's with her. She's standing on her own, with zero ability to balance. She loves her bath, and loves to get out with mom and dad into the public to people watch. She stopped talking as much, and is more and more fun each day. After a trip to Memphis, I was happy to return home to my girls for a great Valentine's Day.

Caroline at 4 Months

Caroline is 4 months old this past week. She just started eating with a spoon last week. She's talking up a storm and loves her nightly bath. Krista and I are so blessed with this baby girl. We had our first dinner out last night alone without Caroline. We talked about what she might be doing and looked at pictures of her on my Blackberry. A great night out.

3 Months 3 Weeks: She's a person now!

Caroline has passed her first quarter and she's changed completely. She's using her hands with purpose now, hugging on her favorite bunny and loves to stand up with our hands around her waist. She's playing in her exersaucer and bouncer, and is making all kinds of nonsense noise with her newly discovered pipes. We're truly blessed that she is in our lives. Our friend Kate Underwood took these pics. She's a photographer in Nashville and did a fantastic job. Caroline was in a bad mood, sleepy and barely smiled. She managed to get plenty of great pics, even though our princess had a pebble in her glass slipper. www.kateunderwoodphotography.blogspot.com
Thanks Kate. Great pictures!
Not too happy with daddy. It was a rainy day, so all
our pics had to be inside.
My 2 beautiful girls.
Her pensive little stare.
Not sure when this happened, but it did.

Wrapping up 2009 and beginning 2010.

We finished out 2009 with Krista and Caroline spending some time in Nashville accompanying dad on a work trip. It was Caroline's first stay in a hilton and her dad's 28th for the year. She did great on the road and in the hotel. We've started off 2010 with icy weather and cozy nights at home. Caroline is sleeping better (intermittently) and is starting to stretch her time between feedings. She's a beautiful baby, and her mom is making sure she stays ahead of the learning curve. Her dad taught her how to watch the Chappelle Show last week. Hopefully mom will work out the kinks I create.
Caroline's Godfather impression.
She got tired of us pulling the bottle away. So she took hold.
My how our romantic dinners have changed.
Teaching her how to DVR.
We stopped in for a visit with Nana and Poppa. She was all smiles.
Our saving grace, the swinging chair. A loaner gift from John and Erin.
When you bring a cute girl with you, you get a suite without asking.
Sometimes, she just likes to watch us work.

10 Weeks: First Christmas

We had a great first Christmas, saw all the family and Caroline got to meet plenty of relatives on both sides. She didn't ask for much this year, so her gifts were slim from mom and dad. We really had a perfect first Christmas thanks to our families and our new baby.

Caroline with Nana. Not photographed as much as they should be together, because Reed rarely lets go of her when we're in Maryville.
Christmas with the Morgan's. Caroline can't wait for the pool to open.
Christmas with the McIntosh babies. Tons of toys.
Our fat little baby. Don't judge her, she's a healthy eater.
Caroline's gift. Milk and Cookie accessories for Santa next year.
She was really excited about the presents.
Caught her smile on film, she's usually afraid of the camera.

And finally. Her first trip to Santa's lap! At the Edwards' family Christmas.

8 Weeks Old: Out and About

Caroline is 8 weeks old and had a busy week. Her dad had to sneak away to Boulder for the week, so mom took her to Nashville to be with the Ingram's. She loved the attention, and getting to know her Nashville family. We're prepping for the holidays, and are excited about our first Christmas with her. She's already responding to her favorite word, Daddy. She's holding her head up and now requires both hands at all times.
